I have always loved harmony singing and was a big fan of rock ‘n’ roll and doo wop, so I found their music intoxicating. As my interest in arranging, recording and songwriting grew it seemed there was always some new texture or idea to be learned from those records. The Beach Boys have had a lot of personal ups and downs over the years, but there was always that magical music.
